It Works! I was sold on Beavertail from the first time I fished on Capt. Gregg Mckee`s Beavertail. Of course I did my due diligence in regards to all comparable skiffs, as I`m sure you will, but I picked up my Beavertail Vengeance in March of 2015. In my opinion the “compromise” in this class […]

I can pinpoint the exact moment when my passion for fishing was sparked. I remember it like it was yesterday, even though I was a mere four years old when my Papa taught me how to catch mud minnows out of a ditch on the side of road, in Beaufort, S.C.. From that moment forward, […]

As a charter captain looking to capitalize and fill a void in the fishing industry in NC, I sought out boat manufacturer’s that could make a skiff stealth and light enough to fish our shallow water bays, yet large and dry enough to handle long runs through rough water.
All I can say is that the BT3 is by far the best poling skiff I have ever stepped foot in. The extremely wide deck leaves so much room for my clients to move around and fish in and the stability of the boat is unrivaled.
I took delivery of the first Beavertail BT3 in March of 2011, this might be the best decision I have made in my ten plus years of guiding in Key West.
What I strive for as a guide is to reduce the hunt for trophy fish to its simplest form. The primary tool in my craft is a shallow drafting skiff and push-pole. What I seek in a perfect skiff is pure elegant simplicity.
“This boat is too good to be true.” I still catch myself thinking that every time I’m running a trip in my 2018 Beavertail Vengeance on my home waters off Pine Island, Florida.
We've developed a program with our Pro Team Captains where you can spend a ½ day fishing with one of our guides and experience our skiffs first-hand. If you choose to purchase a Beavertail, we'll credit you the full cost of your charter when ordering!
