I’m a third-generation Floridian, born and raised on the waters around Destin and Fort Walton Beach. A lifelong waterman, I grew up sailing, surfing, and fishing—and today I hold a USCG 100-Ton Master Captain’s License with a sailing endorsement.
My journey into skinny water fishing began in 2011 while bringing a 47’ sailboat back from the Virgin Islands. In Puerto Rico, I picked up a panga-style skiff, and we towed it back to Florida. Along the way, we stopped in Ragged Island, in the southern Bahamas, where I went bonefishing for the first time—and I was hooked.
A few skiffs later, I now run my dream boat: a Beavertail Mosquito, perfect for poling quietly across the gin-clear flats of the Florida Panhandle. I specialize in sight fishing for redfish with light tackle or—my personal favorite—on fly. It’s a challenge, no doubt. Some say chasing these spooky fish here is the perfect prep for permit.
Though I guide primarily in Northwest Florida, I’ve also chased redfish in Louisiana, all over Florida, and through the marshes of the Carolinas. Wherever the fish are, I’ll go.
If you’re thinking about booking a trip—or considering the Mosquito for yourself—let’s talk. I tailor every charter to fit your style, whether you’re a seasoned angler or just getting into the game.
