I spent months researching skiffs, learning the build processes, taking test rides, getting to know the builders. When I made my appointment with Liz to visit the factory, I was absolutely blown away and knew straight away that I was in the right place. The professionalism, friendliness and attention to the details are the first things you’ll be greeted with when you walk through those doors. My wife and I were given a complete tour of the factory and the build process. No questions went unanswered and our test ride sealed the deal.

A few weeks later we returned to begin our build. Liz spent 3 hours with my wife and I, going over every single detail on the boat. No stone was left unturned, and Liz made many suggestions we never even thought of. We addressed colors, seat patterns, switch placement, lighting, accessories, motor options, trailer options. Every single detail we could ever imagine was thought of and covered during our build meeting. We were even given a delivery date. We left exhausted, but overwhelmed with the excitement of our first custom built skiff.

Delivery day was exactly the day we were given on our order day. The boat was waiting for us inside the factory when we arrived, and Will spent over an hour with us, going over everything to make sure we were comfortable with the features and options and how everything worked. I still can’t help but smile when I think of that day.

We’ve owned our Mosquito for nearly two years now, and to say we are impressed with it is an understatement. I spent the first few outings getting familiar with it, feeling things out and getting comfortable on it and we’ve pushed this boat hard to test its abilities. Paired with the 60hp Suzuki, the Mosquito is a dream to drive. Extremely fuel efficient, runs skinny, poles effortlessly through water so shallow we sometimes just laugh. Runs smooth and dry through chop, turns through small creeks like it’s on rails and is an absolute blast to be behind the wheel of. The Mosquito is a true high performance technical poling skiff.

From start to finish and even after the sale, pairing with BeaverTail to build our first custom skiff has been the most fun and amazing experience we’ve had. Will, Liz and team love what they do and it shows.
