Like many others I fish solo a high percentage of the time, so when I decided it was time to downsize from my larger flats boat I made my list of “must have’s”. The first and most important criteria was a quality builder that has a solid reputation of customer service and who stands behind their product, Beavertail not only satisfied this criteria but has went above and beyond each time I have reached out to them for assistance.
After meeting with Will, Liz, and the team at the Beavertail facility I knew the Mosquito was in my future! Throughout the entire build process, I was kept up to date on the progress and provided build pictures which really showed me how they were willing to go the extra mile.
I live and fish in the Jacksonville Florida area and the Beavertail Mosquito is the perfect tool for the miles of tidal marsh creeks, flats and waterways. The Mosquito is extremely smooth riding, floats super shallow and is easy to poll, yet what really continues to impress me is the incredible amount of space on the front deck. I have space to fish comfortably and move around the entire skiff without the typical “fire drill” when hooked up to a nice fish. My Mosquito is paired with a Yamaha F70 and the performance/fuel consumption is amazing. I absolutely love my Beavertail Mosquito and would not hesitate to order another!
